Happy International Women's Day! This year's theme is #EmbraceEquity.
I did a deep dive to better understand the difference between equity and equality. Equality means each individual or group of people is given the same resources or opportunities. Equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances, and allocates the particular resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome.
Equality is important, but it is not enough. As a female owned and operated company, it is our mission today, and everyday, to have meaningful conversations, raise awareness, and help forge change.
There are so many ways to get involved on International Women's Day. It doesn't matter if your activism is big or small, it is about what feels right for you to show your support and solidarity.
